Ascan Lutteroth is a German painter and landscape artist (1842-1923) who lived in Italy between 1868 and 1870, mostly in Capri where he completed this work. In this oil painting, he invites us to follow the road along the side of the sea shores. We can admire the water blending with the sky in beautiful shade of blue.
