Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

"I only have 244 pieces in my 250-piece puzzle!"

The cutting of our puzzles is handcrafted, meaning that in a puzzle of "approximately 250 pieces," the cutter will strive to make 250 pieces in the puzzle, but depending on the design, there may be a few more or a few less pieces (up to a 5% variance). So you can complete your puzzle with peace of mind; no pieces are missing.

"I feel like I'm missing a piece..."

Finish your puzzle to be sure. Even if you are experienced, you may be surprised by the shape and color of a piece.

"I lost a piece, or my cat ate a piece!"

We ensure the remanufacturing of missing pieces for all puzzles starting from 500 pieces for 30 euros per piece. To do this, you need to send us the pieces surrounding the gap (about 20 pieces, or 2 crowns) held underneath with repositionable glue or on Post-its. They can also be held with plastic wrap on a small cardboard. Be careful, never use adhesive tape. Specify the title of the puzzle, attach the verification ticket, and send everything to PMW 97 avenue Emile Zola 75015 PARIS. The repair time is about one month. If it is an old puzzle that is no longer in the catalog, or from another manufacturer, the repair will be subject to a specific quote, depending on the work requested, the thickness of the wood...

"I'm missing a piece!"

Despite the care we take in manufacturing and the triple check we perform during sorting and packaging, this can very rarely happen. If a piece is missing, we will remake it as above for puzzles with more than 500 pieces. For puzzles of 350 pieces and less from the collection, we will proceed with an exchange.

"I have an extra piece!"

This is also very rare. Most often, it is a simple piece of raw wood or cardboard, with no pattern on the top and no color on the back. You can then throw it away, as it is just a piece of protective cardboard. If there is a back of a different color than the pieces of your puzzle, then it probably belongs to another puzzle, and we thank you for returning it to us with the title of your puzzle.

"How do I exchange?"

You have a duplicate puzzle, you would prefer to do a puzzle with more pieces, you like Chagall better than Bruegel? Return your item in cellophane within 3 months of purchase, and we will exchange it for you or provide you with a credit valid for one year for the amount of the item at the date of purchase. Please note, promotional items are neither returned nor exchanged. Unfortunately, we cannot accept a puzzle whose packaging has been opened.

"Why are wooden art puzzles more difficult than classic puzzles?"

The cutting of our puzzles follows the pattern of the painting. Artisans cut each puzzle differently, following the lines of color. For example, the lighter reflection of a sail on the water may be cut out to form just one piece. And since all the pieces have different shapes, you will not be able to sort them by shape.

"Comment commencer mon premier Puzzle Michèle Wilson ?"

As you wish! But our regulars often turn all the pieces over to see the image and sort the edge pieces to create the border. Watch out for traps! A corner can sometimes consist of 2 pieces. Then observe the shape of the piece you are looking for on the puzzle. Try to identify it among the remaining pieces. The pieces fit together perfectly; you should never force them. Don't get discouraged; sometimes you won't find anything for 10 minutes, and then you'll place 3 or 4 pieces in a row.

"How do I do my puzzle under good conditions?"

Look at the pieces; they are all different and have fewer loops than you might be used to. Since the cut follows the pattern to make the puzzle more beautiful and more challenging, you may find at first that they move around a lot. You should work on a non-slip surface, like thesupports and trayswe offer, or on a sheet of paper coated with repositionable glue.

"Why are wooden art puzzles prettier when framed?"

The saw blade is very thin, and its trace is almost invisible. Since the cut slides into the lines of the artwork, it is not visible once the puzzle is completed.

"How do I frame my puzzle?"

With our accessories, you will be able to flip your puzzle over and glue it on the back. Use ourglues, or simple adhesive strips applied lightly in parallel bands spaced 3 mm apart (once applied, you will consolidate by making movements towards the center of the puzzle, to minimize any movement). Once glued, your puzzle can be inserted into one of ourplexiglass framesor into one of your choice.
