Hand-cut art wooden jigsaw puzzle of circa 900 pieces - Made in France and environmentally friendly.
Self-taught artist Alain Thomas draws inspiration from both the Flemish Primitives, including Brueghel, and the imaginative world of fairy tales and folk traditions. In this winter landscape, a bright red caravan carrying a Christmas tree heralds the arrival of the holiday season. The eye follows the frozen river toward the horizon, moving naturally through the different layers of the composition. The luminous palette combines the whites of the snow, the blues of the sky and ice, the ochres of the buildings, and touches of red.
As you assemble the puzzle, the village gradually comes to life. Along the way, you'll discover ice skaters, a horseman, pigs, sheep, dogs, a flock of birds... and even a tiger! The artistic cut highlights both the depth of the composition and its wealth of detail, with pieces shaped like people, animals, clouds, and even bricks.
