Alexis Bruchon, an artist based in the French city of Clermont-Ferrand, mixes Indian ink and watercolors in his art. Paris-New York 9th floor is part of a series in which he revisits the same composition, changing the palette, landscapes and settings. In this version, the Parisian Arc de Triomphe rubs shoulders with the Washington Arch, nicknamed New York's Arc de Triomphe.
