The works of Italian artist Andrea Calisi set themselves apart through his unique and instantly recognizable style that blends acrylics, colored pencils, and wax pastels. Known for his collaborations with major Italian publishing houses, he creates a world in which imagery and poetic narrative are subtly intertwined. This illustration is from Sentiers, a book he worked on alongside the writer Guia Risari and published by Cambourakis in 2025.
In puzzle form, the cutouts follow the contours of the lines and bring out the idea of a shared journey : an invitation to move forward together, where the paths open up and take shape step by step.
