Hand-cut art wooden jigsaw puzzle of circa 900 pieces - Made in France and environmentally friendly.
This work by the Dutch painter Jan Steen, Peasant Festival Scene in Front of an Inn, depicts a large, lively outdoor scene in which joyful villagers take center stage. Peasants, musicians, dancers and drinkers mix together in a lively, theatrical chaos so typical of this artist.
Immerse yourself in this bustling scene by first assembling the figures in the foreground, whose expressive gestures and comical situations bring the festival to life. Then, little by little, the pieces of the setting reveal all the other characters, such as the wealthy family arriving in a carriage, highlighting the contrast between townspeople and peasants.
